    vLAN help

I appreciate the info, and that states some things that I thought I knew in another way that does make them easier to understand. My biggest question at the moment is a port either tagging or untagging. How could it do one and not the other? Don't I need packets tagged as they come in and...

I can't seem to understand this properly, and need some help. I have several wireless links chained together linking some of our offices. These links are inside out network, post-firewall, and are tying a bunch of small offices together for network and internet access purposes. At one end of...

Of course there are no guarantees in life, but if your stopping distance is worse than the person in front of you, you really are helpless. I would not put myself in that position on purpose.

I do want to buy a used car

I can shoot this one down. A friend of mine drives a lifted Ford F-350 quad cab extended bed. This thing is as intimidating as it gets. Last weekend someone in a midsize Merc cut in front of him and nailed the brakes. They got a totaled car for their trouble. Having a car that can't go, stop...

Nope. It has a 3.5mm stereo jack built into the center console under the armrest. I'm pretty sure I've found the pins on the back of the stereo ("AUX L+", "AUX R+", "AUX GND") but they are part of a large wiring harness connector. I'm pretty sure I can just pull these wires out of the harness...

    Electric Cars

Serves them right. Next time they can actually try to meet the expectations I hold them at least partially responsible for creating. I mean, I know Americans are dumb, but making just another hybrid and calling it the "Volt" is not they way to impress people.

I'm sure they had a D'oh moment when they realized how many people were able to run 7/2008 for 6 months+ at a time without ever having a key. I also suspect that the retail keys won't work with the MSDN downloads of the OS. I know this is the case with 7.
