I think I'll be going this way: Gigabyte GA-Z87N-WIFI (2 x HDMI ports, supporting a maximum resolution of 4096x2160 * Support for HDMI 1.4a version.) Intel i7-4770S (HD 4600 graphics) Gigabyte seems to have dropped mSATA on the Z87 boards.

Great find, thanks. I was just reading through the Iris Pro 5200 review on their site looking for just that: http://www.anandtech.com/show/6993/intel-iris-pro-5200-graphics-review-core-i74950hq-tested/17

Anyone know of an onboard graphics solution that can handle 4k? I'm looking into building a small computer to drive a 4k display. Ideally it would be a single-board solution using an mSATA SSD and a PicoPSU that I could just mount to the back of the TV. Intel is decidedly not helpful in this...

I've never been happy with the way my bike shifts. At first I was running SRAM Apex, but damaged some of the components on my first fall and upgraded them to Rival. Still not happy with the shifting I've upgraded most of my drivetrain to their Force level (one below the top). It currently works...

Not saying you're wrong, but you might as well get used to it. We won't be seeing special resolutions for monitors that aren't used in TVs much in the future.

My contractor had issues with PEX at his house. He has fairly hard water from his well, and any place the PEX made a hard turn it was wearing through the pipe after a few years. He said it would have done the same to copper eventually, and the fact that he could make the bends in the PEX more...

PC Gaming = World of Suck

In the console wars, the only thing I care about is Gran Turismo 6. I own two PS3s, and two copies of GT5. What surprised me was that they announced GT6 for PS3 and not the PS4.

Even if he did (doubtful, considering how little total time I have, and that it is a single seater with with the smoke system in place), I couldn't afford the gas. $1000/hr+ purely in running costs is a conservative number. If you run PoE cameras with shielded ethernet you can skip the conduit. It is all low-voltage, and most shielded cable has a UV-resistant shell.

    Security Cameras

I love AXIS cameras, they aren't cheap, but they work great every time. Many of their IP models have SD card support built-in, so even if they are stand-alone you can retrieve video later.
