    Forum downtime

    Forums were down for 29 minutes, 17-July. Anything interesting to report?
    - 3770k, 212 EVO, Z77X-UD4H, 32GB, 660w, Titan, 840 Pro/256GB, 2TB & 1TB, Define R4, P4317Q, Unicomp/104, M500, M401dn, Win7 Pro x64.

    - Nikon D610 w/grip, 50mm/1.4G, 16-35mm/4G, 105mm/2.8G micro, 200-500mm/5.6E.

    This is what was provided to me:

    Monitoring
    Our team has restored connectivity to Linodes within our Newark datacenter. We will continue to monitor for any additional issues. If you are still experiencing issues and our Support team has not contacted you, please feel free to open a ticket or send us an email at support@linode.com and we will be happy to assist.

    And here I just figured it was one of Lunar's circular links that took down the server.

    I'm totally exhausted, 2 hours sleep in 48 until today.
    I've heard some HR about circular vs. hierarchical Milleniums. I missed that training.

    No problem. I didn't have a chance to mention the downtime before snowhiker referenced it. Linode our hosting provider doesn't often have issues so I'm not that upset by the downtime. I am surprised that a power outage wasn't backed by generators and such.
