Still waiting to get my 240GB Vertex back, too.

I have one of their SSDs 30GB Vertex (original Indilinx) in my HTPC. I haven't had any issues with it. I can't put my finger on it, but their company just seems a little slimy.

The name sounds like phlegm for starters. :hurl:

My 30GB OCZ drive lasts a few write cycles and then performance tanks rapidly. Eventually I will replace it with a decent SSD on sale. X25 series and SandStorm SSDs are miles better.

This will go great once some other company blows them away in the SSD space....

Like one of the HD manufacturers, or do you mean Intel, Samsung, Crucial, etc.?
