My sister is looking to buy a camcorder. Her major interest is that it be easy to use and easy to watch the videos she creates.
I have no idea what the best recording technology is. It seems like something that records directly to a DVD would be the simplest for recording and then watching or sending to relatives. However, I have read that it can be a huge pain to edit videos that have been recorded directly to a DVD. I have no idea if it would be difficult to duplicate them either.
Her max price is $400-500 any lower is a bonus.
