Learn to spell mate - you sound like a right Greek with that spelling of goal :clown:

OMG Rocco, you should ALWAYS be sure before you talk... (remember? Scientia Est Potestas...)
This thread is a live example of what am I talking about. I was quick to make conclusions about the match and Italy lost... :(
I spelled the world in Italian. That's why it's Gol and not Goal.
Rocco Rocco, all these trips (strictly for "work") around the globe have made you forget your own language...

Oh the irony
Chris, I swear... not even the dogs were barking out here when that second Croatian goal came in, just four minutes after the first... for some 1-2 hours: total silence.
I'll never post a thread with a title like this again, before the end of a game...

Prof - Do you want me to edit it in any way? I think it would be alright to do so.

Thanks flagreen, :)
but no.
Let it remind me this stupid rush of mine to post the results of a soccer game. (how naive, I've seen even more "secured" games reverse...)

South Corea-USA 1-1.
Interestingly, while watching the replays of the S. Korea and Portugal I saw a whole bleacher section of fans waving signs that said "Corea". I never knew anyone spelled it that way. Could have been a word in portuguese(sp?).
Certainly, someone in this thread is confused. :-?
The US has now made it into the Quarter-finals with England! :mrgrn: - an unexpected but well-deserved 2-0 win over Mexico. This looks like being the most wide-open competition in years...

This would be a really cool match! 8)
USA-England... Colonies vs. King's Court?
Although USA is the outsider, I hope they reach the semis. They have played great so far (except with Poland), they deserve it.
On the other hand, England can even reach the finals with their curent style...

Actually it will be Germany vs. USA.
