What are reliable alternatives to NewEgg? Price is not most important. I just want to order something and have it shipped right away - no allowed ordering of backordered parts, rebate ripoffs, crappy packaging, delayed shipping, BS, etc. Thanks.

I've used ZipZoomFly with excellent results.
Some folks I work with use Tiger Direct and have had no problems.

In my experience, Newegg has been pretty good. Shipping same or next day with back ordered items and rebates quite clearly marked. But I only order from them about 3 times a month, and it's been almost a week now. Have they changed anything?

I've found Newegg single drive packaging to be unacceptable. If you buy a case of drives then they usually leave them in that factory packaging, and the drives survive.

Got some SCSI drives from ZipZoomFly, great packaging.

ZipZoomFly takes way to long to ship. I live less than an hour's drive from them, and, yet, nothing takes any less than a week to get to me. Any place else on the west coast from which I have ordered, I get it in about three days.
