Could somebody tell me how the score per work unit works? I notice some of you are getting close to two points per WU while others are getting less....

Yeah, I have a ton of work units but my score is kind of low, what gives? I'm using the same machines as before and with United Devices I had the opposite effect where I had a much higher score with less work units.

As far as I can tell F@H uses just basic CPU capability and nothing else. It gives a WU score dependant upon the project that is being worked upon: See [url]http://folding.stanford.edu/psummary.html/url]. Thus, regardless of how long the project takes you get that assigned score.
UD was much more liberal with its scoring system. It's scoring incorperated ram, CPU Mhz, NIC cards, and HD space. You received a score not merely upon how long the project took to complete but rather how long it took to complete times the equipment capability of the machine. Thus you could compensate for a bad CPU by excess ram, and excess HD space and you would get a higher score (Regardless of whether the program need the excess resource). My obervation is that UD gave a bias to lower performaning machines. My GW133 has produced few results but my Athlon 1900 can produce far more work per day and while the Athlon gets a higher score it is not nearly the score it should get based upon the amount completed.

Clocker! You worry too much.
The score is attributed according to the WU's complexity. More complex WUs take more time naturally. However, the strange part is that there seems NOT to be a 1:1 analogy between number of WUs and total score.
I can only say that you have been unlucky and had "easy" WUs to crunch so far.
Patience man...
