I saw him play God in Ars Technica's forum not so long ago. I heard the name before, but I don't replace him. He didn't piss me off BTW, I'm just curious to know if the guy is justified to have such an high opinion of himself.

So, who the hell is he?

As long as he pays for his drinks, it doesn't really matter.

So far as I know, he is a god, at least when it comes to talking about semiconductor technology.

Here's his bio from RealWorldTech:

Paul DeMone - Semiconductor Design Engineer

Paul is an electrical engineer who been designing chips along with computing, DSP, communications, video, and mixed signal hardware for the last fifteen years in the Ottawa area. His achievements include the SCV64 VMEbus interface chip and the command and control pipelines and clock hierarchy in the 72 Mbit SLDRAM reference design. His opinions are entirely his own and do not represent the views of RWT or any employer, past or present.

Looks like Po Paul has written something about CMOS (http://www.realworldtech.com/page.cfm?AID=RWT050802020022). It's well done, remembers me my old notes during my electronic classes. Nice read for those who didn't know how a transistor is made (or those who forgot).
