Too bad there isn't mention of cost. I'm guessing $250 without drives, $300 or so suggested retail. Too much for a SCSI enclosure and a bridge.

If the price is right, though, I'd have no problem picking one or two up.

Unfortunately, this is not really a new product -- they've been around for a little while now.

I believe they go for close to US$1000 each.

Quite true, hence Buck said that the product was interesting. As a matter of fact, I think Buck mentioned that he's seen the local data recovery place use EIDE RAID boxes for a few years.
