Dell PowerConnect 2608 - Gigabit Ethernet switch

I saw this on Ben's and it looks like a decent deal. Has anyoe used one of these before? Someone posted on ben's that this doesn't support jumbo frames...

I've kind of shied away from these guys, just because Dell doesn't actually tell us anything about it. Nothing about the switch fabric. Nothing about jumbo frame support. Nothing about its fans... you have to dig pretty deep on Dell's site to even find the user guide (which is about 10 pages long and includes such important details as how to plug a patch cable in, with lavish illustrations).

Frankly, you know full well that Dell didn't actually make that switch. So who did?

Before I posted I was looking at linksys unmanaged gigabit switches because I thought they shared a resemblance. But after closer inspection, I concluded they weren't the same.

Jumbo frames would be nice, but I'd be happy without the option. I'll probably pass on this deal. I've got to believe in time they'll come down in price some more.
