View Full Version : O&O Defrag and Dynamic disk.

I tried O&O Defrag Pro on Win2k server's dynamic disk and it works just fine. This is not the new version of O&O (V4).

The problem that I ran into with O&O is that it won't defrag my drives if they have non-standard cluster sizes. I have been using speedisk lately and it has worked perfectly.

I had no problem to defrag my 16K clusters size partition with O&O 4 lately. I don't know why you are experiencing difficulties.

Windows 2000 Server. I used the O&O for server.

O&O won't defrag >4K NTFS clusters in win2k, I believe it will in winXP. Unfortunately we have to risk SpeedDisk to get the job done :(

I haven't had a problem with speedisk yet. Seems to work well and defragments my drives well, maybe better than O&O, but that's just my perception (not that accurate).
