Just set up my new system comprising of the following:

MSI K7T266 Pro2
XP1800+, Alpha PAL8045 w/ Papst fan (I forget the model)
512Mb Crucial PC2100 (2x256)

(all the other stuff is from my old computer)

I was wandering if anyone has something similar (preferably with the same mobo) to compare performance with.

I think somethings wrong with this mobo that makes the performance below standard.

I've tweaked all memory settings to maximum as I did with every other setting I could play with and the system runs fine but several benchmarks show it to be quite a bit slower than other XP1800's on boards like the Asus A7V266E and Abit KR7.

Could any one post Sandra 2002 1.859, Cachemem, Clibench 0.715, MathMark 3.0, SuperPi, or ZD CPU mark results for me to compare? Any mobos welcome!

Thanks

Tea

I have the same exact mainboard with a 1700+ Can you post a link or two to those benchmarks? I'll run them.

CacheMem should be run from DOS for accurate results. Feel free to leave it out of you can't be arsed.

You can download WinRAR from http://216.40.248.4/rar/wrar290.exe

Thanks again.

I can't change my sig for some reason (changes aren't saved). So the above sig is not accurate.

Using a7v266-e, xp 1800 1533@1610 (140 bus speed), kingston 2*256 ddr266 and the rest is the same as in the sig, windows and linux on the x15-36lp.

Here's the sig (thanks to our admin):

Thanks, I've changed mobo to.... A7V266-E as well now, seems the MSI was screwing it up

I'm also running it at 140MHz fsb right now, so having something to compare to would be nice.

Ok, so running with fsb 140 :
