I think Meroveus was from Tasmania? But I don't think he was doing a PhD, he was doing a Bachelor of Science or somesuch?

Correct on both counts, I think. He seems to have dropped out from Storage Review these days, but he was always pushed for time and never posted much. I owe him an email anyway, so maybe he will drop in and say hi to us.
