I just got a brand new Sony MDS-SP25 Minidisk unit for £10 (<$20)!
However, this is intended to be connected to a Sony component system and therefore has a ribbon cable connector for the power, in and out connections (though it does have optical for this also). This is why they are selling these so cheap. I need to find the pinout and power specifications for the power supply I need to get it working.
I've looked around the web quite a bit but found no info about the pinouts or a schematic for the device.
Anyone have any ideas or know any sites which may have schematics for consumer electronics?
